Dear Avery and family, I pray God will bless you in these days of loneliness. Even though we haven't been in touch in recent years ,you've been in our thoughts so often. ,Our memories of your family serving God and all of us at Hollowell are precious .We loved "Mrs. Wingert"as our teacher and later such a good example of wife and mother as we started our families. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Connie Tracey I wanted to be with you at the funeral, but I was needed to babysit because of a family medical emergency

Please accept my condolences. I never met Grace but know she was a wonderful woman and mother as her daughter Beverly has been a great mentor and shining example of humanity for me. Grace will live on through her family and friends and is surely rejoicing in heaven. All my love and admiration cannot be expressed. I wish the family great comfort and joy in having been so blessed.

Grace and Avery were my youth leaders at Hollowell during my senior year in high school. It was an extremely significant year for me both in my own spiritual maturing and developing as a leader. In both journeys, Grace was an inspiring model of what it meant to be a new person in Christ and a gentle coach with regards to my roles in the Hollowell youth group, Youth for Christ, and Greencastle-Antrim High school Bible Club. She is one of the most Christ-centered persons I know, and by that I mean that her entire life was governed by and flowed out of her relationship with Jesus. This was nurtured by her prayer life and her contagious love for the Bible. I am deeply indebted to Grace for all that she poured into my life. My only regret is that I am not able to be a part of her memorial service. Blessed be her memory and comfort to Avery and to each member of their family.

Sending our heartfelt sympathy to Dwight, BJ, Amanda, David, Journey, Daxton, Barrett and to all the extended Wingert family. We know Grace will remain in your hearts and memories as a strong, loving, compelling and courageous matriarch. John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." God's peace to you all.

Grace was my Sunday School teacher when I was in school. She and Avery were the nicest couple. I have never forgotten them after all these years. My deepest sympathy to the family.

We have such sweet memories of Grace. From an early age, Avery & Grace were so instrumental in teaching and influencing the young people of Hollowell. Later on, I had the privilege to work for Avery at Hagerstown Automotive. Whenever we returned to Hagerstown, we tried to visit with both of them, and they were always so gracious in trying to accomodate us. I know we'll see Grace again in glory. Our heartfelt condolences to Avery and the family in the loss of a terrific lady and Christian leader!
