Terry Ray Peiffer

Terry Ray Peiffer, age 61, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at his home. Born February 1, 1960, in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late G. Irvin and A. Elaine Shatzer Peiffer.

Terry worked as a farm hand most of his adult life. He enjoyed farming, operating equipment, and keeping up with the dairy industry.

Surviving is his sister, Linda Zerkle of Hagerstown, MD; one niece, Azure Peiffer; and three nephews, John Zerkle, Tony Darr, and Kory Peiffer. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Albert Peiffer, brother-in-law, Tad Zerkle, and a nephew, Craig Zerkle.

Services and interment in Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg, PA will be at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Linda Zerkle to help defray funeral expenses at 16114 Broadfording Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
