Shirley D. Eberly

Shirley D. Eberly, age 70, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born in Chambersburg, PA on July 27, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. Eberly, Sr. and Rhoda B. Hawbaker Eberly.

Shirley was a 1974 graduate from Pan American University with a Bachelor Degree.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting, traveling, watching criminal shows and western movies, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was formerly a member of Montgomery Brethren In Christ.

Surviving is her daughter, Julie E. Miller (husband Jonathon) of Greencastle; four grandchildren, Jonathon, Jared, Jack, and Jessica; great granddaughter Sophia; and 3 brothers, Ronald Eberly, Robert Eberly, and Larry Everly (wife Linda).  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond L. Eberly, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 12 PM at the Montgomery Brethren in Christ Church 6727 Montgomery Church Road Mercersburg, PA 17236, where Pastors Randy Eberly and Japheth Nell will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church at the address listed above. Interment will follow the service in Montgomery Brethren in Christ Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
