Russell D. Miller

Russell D. Miller, age 50, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the York Hospital. Born October 23, 1971, in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of June Johnson Miller and the late Charles R. Miller.

Mr. Miller was a 1990 graduate of the Greencastle-Antrim Senior High School. He worked as a farmer most of his life. Mr. Miller enjoyed hunting, football, races, and farming.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Hunter M. Egolf (husband Blake) of Mercersburg, PA and Cheyenne D. Miller of Needmore, PA; three grandchildren, Pyper, Bryer, and Sayler Egolf; four siblings, Shirley E. Gartzke (husband Ken) of Carlisle, PA, Tammy Miller of Hagerstown, MD, Julie Sites of Greencastle, PA, and Doug Miller (wife Connie) of Mercersburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA. Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Rd., West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
