Ray C. Lesher

Ray C. Lesher, 77, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born March 25, 1944 in Greencastle, he was the son of the late Amos and Charlotte Barnhart Lesher. His beloved wife, Barbara M. Anderson Lesher, preceded him in death on November 26, 2020.

Ray was employed at Landis Tool, Fairchild Aviation, and Most recently at Mack Truck. He was a very active member of Macedonia United Brethren Church where he served on the Board of Trustees for 25 years and on the cemetery board. Ray also enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by two daughters, Rae Bartle of Chambersburg, Joyce Mowen of Mercersburg; one son, Kevin Lesher of Greencastle and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Macedonia United Brethren Church, 11887 Worleytown Rd. Greencastle with Rev. Gayle Ruble officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Macedonia Cemetery Association c/o Macedonia United Brethren Church at the above address.
