Nancy L. Statler
Nancy Lee (McCulloh) Statler, age 74, of Greencastle, PA died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in her home.
Born July 2, 1944 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Pearl A. (Smith) McCulloh. She married her husband Richard E. “Dick” Statler on December 30, 1967. He died on April 11, 2011.
Nancy worked as a server at the former Antrim House Restaurant of Greencastle, at the Parlor House in Waynesboro and she also was employed as a waitress for many years at Newhouse Restaurant in Mercersburg in the 60’s and 70’s.
She had attended the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Chambersburg. She was a 1962 graduate of James Buchanan High School.
Nancy’s hobbies and interests included reading, watching cardinals, going to the beach, shopping, yard sales and yardwork.
Surviving family are two sons, Douglas A. McCulloh (Lisa) of Mercersburg, PA, Kevin L. Statler, (Katie Barnhart) of Greencastle, PA; two grandchildren, Connor McCulloh and Cristen Statler; and her beloved cat, Joey.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Curtis E. Statler in 2014 and one brother Ronald R. McCulloh.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 24 at 10:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Murray Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and one hour before the service on Thursday.
