Marlene R. (Kline) Bingaman

Marlene R. Bingaman, 88, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at her home.  Born July 25, 1934 in Wolfsville, MD, she was a daughter of the late Ray M. and Mabel B. Miller Kline.  A homemaker most of her life she enjoyed playing Bingo, working puzzles, Crossword puzzles, and gardening.  She loved canning, knitting, and spending time at the beach, especially Ocean City, MD.  She was a former member of Pleasant Hill United Brethren Church and King Street United Brethren Church.  Her husband, Donald E. Bingaman, Sr., whom she married September 20, 1951, preceded her in death on April 24, 2020.

She is survived by four children, Donald E. Bingaman, Jr. and wife Deborah of Greencastle, Ray Allen Bingaman and wife Sherry of Greencastle, Leon E. Bingaman, Sr. and girlfriend Felicia Ansell of Greencastle, and Linda L. Deshong and husband Donald of Breezewood, PA; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and her brother, Gary Kline and wife Marie of Chambersburg.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Delores, and two grandsons, Donald and Zachery.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 6, 2023 at Macedonia United Brethren Church, 11887 Worleytown Rd, Greencastle, PA.  Pastor Gayle Ruble will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from Noon until the service begins at 1:00 PM on Monday at the church.
