Louisa J. (Kennedy) Bair, age 87 of Chambersburg, PA died Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in the Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center of Chambersburg.
Born September 30, 1933 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Anna Mary (Hykes) Kennedy.
She married her husband E. Martin Bair in July 1956. He died on October 29, 2013. She worked at the former Connie Sportswear in Waynesboro and at the Stanley Co. of Chambersburg.
Louisa also assisted her husband in his pastoral ministry and served as the matriarch of her family.
Louisa was a member of the Montgomery Brethren In Christ Church near Mercersburg.
Surviving family are one son Mark Bair of Chambersburg, one grandson Timothy Bair and wife Lindsay of Newtown Square, PA, and she was one of ten siblings.
A private graveside service will be held at the Montgomery Brethren In Christ Church Cemetery near Mercersburg. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.zimmermanfh.com. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
