Linda L. (Summers) Martin

Linda L. Martin, age 58, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the York Hospital. Born December 12, 1962, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Zachary and Lucille Mummert Summers.

Mrs. Martin was a 1980 graduate of James Buchanan High School. She worked as a homemaker, caring for and raising her family over the years. A social butterfly, Mrs. Martin enjoyed socializing, shopping, and crafting; however her most cherished pastime was spent with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing yard work and flowers.

Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Michael L. Martin whom she married June 15, 1980; two children, Derek Martin (wife Megan) of Chambersburg, PA and Erica Spangler (husband Toby) of Chambersburg, PA; two grandsons, Talan and Tripp Martin; and two siblings, Wayne Summers (wife Violet) of Mercersburg, PA and Barb Summers of Shippensburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11 AM at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, 24 Kauffman Rd. E., Chambersburg, PA 17202, where Pastor David Possinger will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the church. Interment will follow the service in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.zimmermanfh.com.
