Jeremiah Joseph Fox

Jeremiah Joseph Fox, age 19, of Shippensburg, PA died unexpectedly on Tuesday September 15 , 2020 in Ocean City, MD.

Born June 27, 2001 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of Barbara A. Summers of Shippensburg, PA and Troy S. Fox of Greencastle, PA.

He last worked at the Giant Food Store in Shippensburg. He was a 2019 graduate of Shippensburg High School and attended the Franklin County Career and Technology Center in Chambersburg where he studied landscaping and horticulture.

Jeremiah had attended the Greencastle Church of the Brethren. His hobbies and interests included fishing, hunting, crabbing, animals and planting flowers.

In addition to his parents, surviving family are two sisters, Heather Brown of Shippensburg, Nicole Harris of Shippensburg;  paternal grandmother, Isabelle J. Fox of Greencastle; his dog Minnie; four nieces, one nephew and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather William E. Fox and his maternal grandparents Lucille and Zac Summers.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 23 at 2:00 PM at the Macedonia Church Cemetery 11887 Worleytown  Rd. Greencastle with family friend Billy Pilgrim officiating. There will be no public viewing.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, PA to assist his family with his services.
