Janet Lorraine Kuykendall

Janet Lorraine Kuykendall, age 94 of Greencastle, PA died Sunday, January 31, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born January 26, 1927 in Alliance, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hollinshead and Hattie (Minor) Hollinshead Coleman. She married her husband William J. Kuykendall in January 1948.

Lorraine was a homemaker and in her earlier years worked at the former Croft’s Drug Store in Greencastle. She was a 1945 graduate of Waynesboro High School. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Greencastle.

Surviving family in addition to her husband of 73 years are two daughters, Donna Griffin of Chambersburg, Deborah (David) Snider of Ft. Loudon, PA; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one brother Keith Hollinshead of Toronto, Canada.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Hollinshead and Charles Hollinshead and an infant daughter Deidra Kuykendall.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Green Hill Cemetery Waynesboro, PA with Rev. Martin Horn officiating. There will be no viewing.
