Helen L. Stahl

Helen L. Stahl, age 96, of Fayetteville, PA and formerly of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Paramount Senior Living. Born December 9, 1925, in Mercersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Anna May Ryder Heinbaugh.

Mrs. Stahl was a 1944 graduate of the former Mercersburg High School. She went on to work for the former J. Schoenman Company in Chambersburg for 25 years as a seamstress. Mrs. Stahl was a member of Grace Bible Church, she enjoyed music and sang with the Gospel Tide Choir for many years.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Stahl in 2012, son, Fred E. Stahl in 1989, and siblings, Emmert H. Heinbaugh and Hazel Secrist, and sister-in-law, Olive Mae Heinbaugh.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 10 AM at the Grace Bible Church, 2327 Hoffman Rd., Greencastle, with Rev. J. Herman Fisler and Rev. John Hoffman officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the above church and address. Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Building Fund of Grace Bible Church 2327 Hoffman Rd. Greencastle, PA 17225.
