Grace Diana (Witmer) Sensenig Martin

Grace D. Witmer Sensenig Martin, age 77, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born January 12, 1945, in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Lunetta Witmer.

Mrs. Martin was a 1962 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School.  She went on to work for Giant/Martin’s Food Stores for 20 years and then for Food Lion Food Stores as a Customer Service Manager for 19 years, retiring in 2010. Mr. Martin was a member of Salem Ridge Community Church, the Chatty Cats, and The Widow Ladies. She enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing, listening to music, and was a QVC faithful.

Surviving is her daughter, Shante S. Good (husband Matthew) of Hagerstown, MD and her fiancé Rev. Joseph Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Kenneth Sensenig in 1968 and Gideon Martin in 2016 and her sister, Doris Fleagle.

Private graveside services will be in Salem Ridge Community Cemetery.  A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 11 AM at Salem Ridge Community Church, 441 Pensinger Rd., Greencastle, PA 17225, where Pastor Brian Emery will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday, September 13 one hour prior to the service at the above church and address. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Salem Ridge Community Church at the above address.
