Elsie L. Cline

Elsie L. Cline, age 87, a former longtime resident of State Line, PA, and a resident of Paramount Senior Living in Fayetteville, PA, died Tuesday morning April 6, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hospital. 

Born May 10, 1933 in Smithsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Evelyn M. (Miller) Cline.

Elsie retired from the former A.G. Crunkleton Electric Co. of Greencastle. She was a 1951 graduate of Greencastle High School.

She was a member of the former Trinity United Brethren Church of State Line and last attended Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Chambersburg. She enjoyed bus trips, reading her bible and praying for people and word search puzzles.

She was the last of her immediate family.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Joseph P. Cline, William H. Cline, Charles E. Cline and a sister Ruth J. Cline.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday April 9 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Casey Hurst officiating. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Hagerstown Rescue Mission P.O. Box 685 Hagerstown, MD 21741. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanfh.com.
