David Brian Lester

David Brian Lester, age 55, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 27, 2021. Born August 30, 1965, in Glendale, AZ, he was the son of Doris C. Pelletier and the late Herbert Dawes Lester, Sr.

Mr. Lester was currently employed as an IT Security Specialist for AT&T, where he has worked since, 2004. He was a member of the Greencastle Sportsman’s Association.  David was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, and camping. He also loved to cook and smoke meats.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Courtney Hand Lester, whom he married June 6, 2004; two sons, Andrew Lester and Alexander Lester, both of Greencastle, PA, a brother, Herbert Dawes Lester, Jr. (wife Monica) of Venice, FL; a niece, Elizabeth Lester; a nephew, William Lester; and numerous cousins.

Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106.
