Daniel Burtner Obituary

Daniel C. Burtner, age 59, of Greencastle, PA died Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in the Hershey Medical Center.

Born April 9, 1962 in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Richard L. and Joanne L. (Fennell) Burtner.

Daniel was a graduate of Central High School of York, PA. He was employed at Johnson Controls of Waynesboro, PA for 37 years, working as a CNC machine operator and assembler.

Daniel is survived by his longtime companion Carol Lanehart of Greencastle and her children Thomas Lanehart Jr., Tyler Lanehart and a very special young lady close to his heart Jailyn Lanehart. Also surviving are his four brothers Larry Burtner, Tim Burtner, Todd Burtner, Chris Burtner, one niece and several nephews.

A Celebration Life Service will be held at a later date. There will be no viewing. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanfh.com. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, Greencastle.
