Clarence Marvin "Boy" Bierd, Jr.

Clarence M.  “Boy” Bierd, Jr., age 52, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Born August 24, 1969, in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of Clarence M. Bierd, Sr. and Phyllis R. Harnish.

An arborist, Clarence was the owner and operator of Bierd’s Tree Service. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, traveling, carpentry, and his numerous pets.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved companion of 25 years and wife of 12 years, Sheila D. Kassube Bierd, whom he married on September 2, 2009; a son, Branden M. Bierd of Brunswick, MD; three siblings, LaTrenda D. Tymchak (Michael) of Las Vegas, NV, William D. Bierd of Waynesboro, PA, and Amanda R. Bierd of Mercersburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM in the Harold M. Zimmerman Funeral Home, Inc., 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA.
