Charles R. Kessler

Charles R. Kessler, age 97, of Greencastle, PA died Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Waynesboro Hospital.

He was born November 21, 1923 in Pawnee, Illinois.  His wife Mary Jane Kessler died December 21, 2017. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Greencastle V.F.W., American Legion and St. Mark  the Evangelist Catholic Church of Greencastle.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 16 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark the Evangelist  Catholic Church 395 S. Ridge Ave.  Greencastle with Father Walter Guzman as celebrant.  There will be no public viewing. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Chhildren 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
