Beverly J. (Sites) Robinson

Beverly J. “Bev” Robinson, age 84, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly at the Menno Haven Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Born May 1, 1938, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Noble and Hazel Higgins Sites.

A 1956 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, Bev went on to working as a meat processor at various retail locations, including her and her husband’s own Butcher Shop. She was a member of Grace Bible Church and the former Silver Star Saddle Club. Bev enjoyed horseback riding, travel, flowers gardening, and watching Cardinals

Surviving are seven siblings, Betty Johnson of Chambersburg, PA, Ronald Sites (Shirley) of Chambersburg, PA, Norman Sites (Olive) of Chambersburg, PA, Edna Carbaugh (Bill) of Hagerstown, MD, Carl Sites (Ann) of Chambersburg, PA , Larry Sites (Geraldine) of Greencastle, PA, and Daryl Sites (Linda) of Greencastle, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Bill Robinson in 2016 and three siblings, Richard Sites, Louise Miller, and Robert Sites.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 11 AM at Grace Bible Church, 2327 Hoffman Rd., Greencastle, PA 17225, where Pastors Herm Fisler and Nathan Hykes will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the above church and address. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
