Betty J. Goetz

Betty J. Goetz, age 89, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at her home. Born June 29, 1932, in Franklin County, PA, she was the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Ruth Musselman Gearhart.

Mrs. Goetz was a homemaker most of her working years. She enjoyed cooking, word search puzzles, and entertaining little babies.

Surviving are her two children, Ronald E. Goetz (wife Linda E.) of Mercersburg, PA and Patricia A. Hood (husband Richard G.) of Greencastle, PA; three grandchildren, Jennifer Gelsinger, Julie Goetz, and Carol Hood; four great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Minnich of Waynesboro, PA.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 10 AM in Brown’s Mill Cemetery, Kauffman, PA, where Rev. Robert Cook will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.
