Barry Quay Sipes

Barry Quay Sipes, age 59, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Born in McConnellsburg, PA, he was the son of Maurice Quay Sipes and the late Edna Amy Souders Sipes.

Barry was a 1980 graduate of the Greencastle-Antrim Senior High School. He worked for several years as a welder at Letterkenny Army Depot. Barry enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Sharon Kent (John) of Greencastle, PA and Carole Beam (Blaine) of Greencastle, PA; his cat, Patches; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services and interment are private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Macedonia United Brethren Church, 11887 Worleytown Rd., Greencastle, PA 17225.
