Terry Linn Berkley

Terry Berkley, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and dedicated member of her community, passed away, leaving behind a lifetime of love, creativity, faith, service, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Terry attended Beall Elementary, Middle, and High School, where she participated in the high school band. She continued her education at Frostburg State University, earning a degree in Fine Art. Her passion for art and creativity remained a meaningful and enduring part of her life.

While attending college, Terry learned the art of belly dancing and later performed professionally. She deeply appreciated the arts and carried a vibrant and creative spirit throughout her life.

Terry especially enjoyed arts and crafts and was an exceptionally skilled seamstress. She could create nearly anything she envisioned. Whether sewing, crafting, or working on one of her many creative projects, Terry consistently invested her heart, talent, and imagination into her work.

Faith and service to others were central to Terry’s life. She was a member of State Line United Methodist Church. Terry and her husband, Tim, devoted many years to volunteering with the youth group at Williamsport United Methodist Church. Throughout their lives together, she remained actively involved in the churches they attended, serving as a group leader, volunteer, and offering her assistance wherever it was needed.

Terry also dedicated her time to scouting, serving as a leader for both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She had a deep commitment to working with young people and took great joy in guiding, supporting, and encouraging them.

Above all, Terry cherished her family. She and her husband, Tim Berkley, shared 43½ years of a loving marriage. Together, they built a life grounded in love, faith, family, laughter, and countless treasured memories.

Terry is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Berkley; her two sons, Jonathan Berkley and Greg Berkley; her daughters-in-law, Maria and Kayla; and her three beloved grandchildren, Dominic, Lincoln, and Noel. She is also survived by her mother, Joanne Beal, of Frostburg, Maryland, and her brother, Scott Beal, of Urbana, Maryland.

Terry’s legacy is reflected not only in the beautiful creations she made with her hands, but also in the love, kindness, and generosity she extended to others. She willingly shared her time and talents with her family, her churches, scouting organizations, and all those whose lives she touched.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, talented artist and seamstress, faithful servant, and cherished friend. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and cared for, and her passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those who loved her.

For Tim, Terry was his soulmate, his foundation, his heart, and his life’s greatest love. He feels deeply blessed to have shared 43½ wonderful years together. She was the love of his life, and he will forever treasure the moments they shared.

Terry’s family will carry her memory forward in the years to come. Her love will live on through Jonathan and Greg, through Maria and Kayla, and through her grandchildren, Dominic, Lincoln, and Noel. The lessons she imparted, the love she shared, and the beauty she created will remain with them always.

Although Terry is no longer physically present, her spirit endures. She lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, in those she helped, in the young people she guided, and in the many memories she created throughout her life.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle Street, Greencastle, PA 17225. Pastor Suzanne Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Rest peacefully, Terry. You were deeply loved, a blessing to all who knew you, and you will be profoundly missed. Your love will remain in our hearts until we meet again.
