Robert Walter "Bob" Schwalm

Robert Walter “Bob” Schwalm, age 80, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD. Born August 21, 1944, in Flushing Queens, NY, he was the son of the late William and Ann Conlon Schwalm.

Mr. Schwalm served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a corporate salesman for Snap-On Tools for 20 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Otterbein United Brethren Church in Greencastle, PA.

Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Carol L. Custer Schwalm, who he married on October 18, 1986; and two siblings, Alan Schwalm (wife Maureen) and Carole Gray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Schwalm.
