Reitta Sue (Gurley) Wing, age 68 of Hager Rd. Greencastle, PA died Monday, July 17, 2017 in her home.

Born December 26, 1948 in Pikeville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Raeford Gurley Sr. and Hester Elizabeth (Bailey) Gurley. Her husband, Master Sgt. Kenneth Chester Wing, U.S. Air Force Retired died April 6, 2013.

She was a homemaker and along with her husband enjoyed raising and showing horses.

Surviving family are a son, Everette Wayne Watson, three grandchildren, Amanda Jean Watson, William Ray Watson, Damon Joseph Watson, three great-grandchildren, Reitta Ann Price, Joseph Caleb Price, Oran Conner Ryan, two brothers, Thomas Raeford Gurley Jr. and wife Lisa, Philip Wayne Gurley and wife Kimberly and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Christy Lynn Watson in 2008 and a sister Barbara G. Miller.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday July 22 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, PA. Interment will be in the Washington Memorial Park in Richmond, VA on Monday, July 24 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter 5051 Letterkenny Rd.
