Donald M. Fritz, Sr.

Donald M. Fritz, Sr., age 74, of Greencastle, PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, after a 6-year battle with Metastatic Cancer at his residence. Born June 29, 1951, in Hagerstown, MD he was the son of the late Maurice and Anna Robinson Fritz.

Mr. Fritz attended James Buchanan High School, he later received his GED. He drove for 30 years with Roadway Express, later for Fed Ex and Penske. Mr. Fritz was a member of Grace Bible Church, Greencastle, PA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, the Baltimore Orioles Baseball games, and spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife of 34 years, Gail Mummart Fritz, whom he married on December 7, 1991; two sons, Jeff Fritz, Sr. (wife Melody) of Mercersburg, PA; Donald Fritz, Jr. of Greencastle, PA; three grandchildren, Jeff Fritz, Jr., Janette Lehman (husband Galen), and Axel Fritz; two step-grandchildren, Aubree and Addie Hess; one great-grandchild, Joella Lehman; a twin brother, Ronald Fritz (wife Karen) of Mercersburg, PA, and a sister, Carol Hardy of Fort Loudon, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Fritz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Grace Bible Church 2327 Hoffman Rd. Greencastle, PA 17225. Pastors Nathan Hykes, Herm Fisler and Dave Mummert will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Broadfording Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 6-8 PM at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, PA 17225 and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Grace Bible Church, 2327 Hoffman Rd.
