Carolyn M. Mellott

Carolyn M. Mellott, 77, of Mercersburg, PA passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Mercy House in Chambersburg, PA. She was born on January 1, 1949, in Chambersburg, PA to the late Harold K. and Betty Louise (Hoover) Statler.

Carolyn was a 1966 graduate of CASHS and went on to work as an Accounts Payable Specialist with Hennessey Products in Chambersburg, PA. She was a past member of the Rescue Hose Company No 1. Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed watching game shows and dirt track racing with her grandsons.

She is survived by her son Robert H. Mellott (Melanie) of Greencastle, PA; daughter Wendy Fogelsonger (Bud) of Mercersburg, PA; daughter Stacey Mellott of Chambersburg, PA; grandchildren Kyle Mellott of Greencastle, PA; Samantha Farnham (Ben) of Ranson, WV; Shania Fogelsonger (Kent) of Mercersburg, PA; R.J. Fogelsonger of Mercersburg, PA; Dylan Newcomer (Cheyenne) of Chambersburg, PA; Dalton Mellott (Tori) of Mercersburg, PA; Taylor Meredith of Chambersburg, PA; step grandchildren Ashley Zeger (Marc) of Greencastle, PA; Danielle Wenger of Greencastle, PA; 13 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; sister Connie Ott (Dennis) of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandmother Lela Mackey.
