Teressa J. (Rice) Lenherr

Teressa J. (Rice) Lenherr, age 88, formerly of Lantern Lane Chambersburg, PA died Thursday evening February 1, 2018 at Menno Haven in Chambersburg.

Born September 12, 1929 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late John C. and A. Florence (Snyder) Rice. She married her husband Reid D. Lenherr Jr. on December 12, 1947. He died on February 5, 2013.

Teressa was a homemaker most of her life and had worked in her younger years at the former Little America Co. and the former GEM Garment Co. both of Greencastle. She was a member of the Cold Springs United Brethren Church of Fayetteville, PA. She was a member of the Chambersburg Mall Walkers Group and attended Greencastle High School.

Surviving family are four nieces Faye Carbaugh, Jean Ditzler, Cheryl Hockenberry, Tina McCleaf, and four nephews, Donald  Lenherr, Robert Lenherr, Dennis Lenherr, Max Lenherr and a cousin Cecil Snyder.

Funeral services will be held on Friday February 9 at 11:00 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Kevin D. Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown. There will be no public viewing but the family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Friday.
