Ruth J. Cline

 Ruth J. Cline, age 90, a former long time resident of State Line, PA, died early Tuesday morning September 12, 2017 at The Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville, PA.

Born April 20, 1927 in Smithsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Evelyn M. (Miller) Cline.

Ruth worked for 38 years at the former McCroy’s Store in Hagerstown and at the Valley Mall.

She was a member for over 50 years of the former Trinity United Brethren Church of State Line and last attended Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Chambersburg.

She is survived by one sister Elsie L. Cline, a resident of The Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville and one nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Joseph P. Cline, William H. Cline and Charles E. Cline

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday September 15 at 10:30 AM at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Casey Hurst officiating. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Hagerstown Rescue Mission P.O. Box 685 Hagerstown, MD 21741. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanfh.com.
