Pearl Virginia (Sites) Myers, age 94, formerly of Greencastle, PA passed away at 6:05 PM Friday, October 20, 2017 in the Shook Home in Chambersburg, PA.

Born May 29, 1923 in Greencastle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus L. and Cora E. (Seiders) Sites. She married her husband Donald C. Myers on April 23, 1943.

Pearl was a homemaker most of her life and in her earlier years worked at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg and for the Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg. She was a 1941 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Pearl had been a member of the former Calvary Bible Church of Greencastle and currently was a member of the Ebenezer “Guitners” United Brethren Church near Greencastle, where in her younger years taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and was in the Women’s Missionary Society.

In addition to her husband of 74 years, surviving family are two daughters, Donna M. (Stanley) Sites of Mercersburg, PA, Barbara K. (J. Randall) Withenshaw of Port Huron, MI, one son, Jeffrey L. (Carrie M.) Myers of Marion, PA, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 25 at 10:30 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastors David Grove and J. Randall Withenshaw officiating. Burial will be in the Meyers Cemetery near Mercersburg. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
