June R. Vinck

June R. Vinck, age 83 of Lewisberry, PA and formerly of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. Born May 6, 1935, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Julien W. Vinck, Sr. and Edna H. Vinck.

Ms. Vinck worked as a Federal Court Clerk in Baltimore, MD for 17 years, retiring in 1999. She had previously worked in transportation for Yale Trucking for 15 years prior. A thoughtful and caring person, June cherished her time with her family, especially during her favorite holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also enjoyed her time in scouting as a Den Mother, creating wedding cakes, painting, and playing bingo.

Surviving is her brother, Ernest G. Vinck (wife Carol) of Lewisberry, PA; sister-in-law, Connie Vinck of Fayetteville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Julien W. Vinck, Jr.in 2014.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, at 5:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 South Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA, where Rev. Andrew Jillson will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD.
