June E. Lehman

June E. (Timmons) Lehman, age 79 of Marion, PA went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning December 23, 2017 in her home following a brief illness.

Born June 16, 1938 in Antrim Twp. Franklin County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Newton F. and Nancy K. (Ebersole) Timmons. She married her husband Clifford E. Lehman on April 16, 1960.

June was a homemaker and had worked at the former Lehman’s Egg Services and at the former Citizens National Bank, both of Greencastle.

She was a member of the Mercersburg Mennonite Church, the Kauffman Ruritan Club and the Cumberland Valley Relief Center. She enjoyed decorating cakes.

Surviving family in addition to her husband are two sons, John A. Lehman and wife Lorie of Greencastle, Bradley S. Lehman and wife Luria of Greencastle, one son-in-law, Daryl Hunsecker and wife Rhonda of Greencastle, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one sister, Dorcas M. Showalter of Chambersburg, two brothers, Edward Timmons and Daniel Timmons, both of Greencastle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Diann M. Hunsecker in 2004 and a son Nathan D. Lehman in 2008.

Funeral services will be held on Friday December 29 at 10:30 A.M. at the Mercersburg Mennonite Church, 10060 Buchanan Trail West Mercersburg, PA with Pastors David Possinger and Allen Eshleman officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Mercersburg Mennonite Church on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 PM   and one hour before the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Cumberland Valley Relief Center 4225 Molly Pitcher Hwy. Chambersburg, PA 17202 or to SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, 2700 Luther Dr. Chambersburg, PA. 17202. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.zimmermanfh.com.
