Edna M. (Miller) Nolan

Edna Mae (Miller) Nolan, age 85, of Greencastle, PA passed away Wednesday morning October 16, 2019 in her home.

Born October 10, 1934 in Oxon Hill, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Morgan) Miller. She married her husband William P.  Nolan on February 19, 1953. He died on April 12, 2019.

 Edna was the former owner of Ponderosa Kennels in Smithburg, MD. She was a member of the Emmanuel Chapel of Smithsburg, MD. Edna loved the Lord Jesus, her husband Bill, her family and her dogs.

Surviving family are two daughters, Sharon Nolan of Martinsburg, WV, Helen Nolan Carlson and husband Bradley of Greencastle; two sons, Patrick Nolan and wife Connie of Fountain Inn SC, Lewis Nolan of Maryland; 12 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 23 at 2:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle. Please join the family for visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. A private family graveside service will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle. Contributions may be given in her memory to Franklin County Veterans Affairs Service Dog Program, ATT: Operation Save-A-Vet-, Save-A-Pet 425 Franklin Farm Lane Chambersburg, PA 17202.
