Barbara L. "Barbie" Rupp

Barbara L. “Barbie” Rupp, age 51, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at the Waynesboro Hospital. Born June 29, 1968, she was the daughter of Harold W. and Nancy Stumbaugh Leidig.

Barb worked as a fraud analyst for Citibank in Hagerstown; she enjoyed crafting, cooking, painting, volunteer work and spending time with her fur babies, Dora, Baxter & Dexter. She attended Trinity United Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Alison A.E. Russell (husband Tanner) of Sevierville, TN, her fiancé, David Gero, and a sister, Brenda S. Faust (husband Earnest) of Greencastle, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 10 AM in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 South Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA 17225, where Pastor Irene Pouliot will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16 from 6 – 8 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 North Progress Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
