Julia L. Smith

Julia L. Smith, age 47, of St. Thomas, PA died at 3:05 AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 in the Waynesboro Hospital following a six month battle with breast cancer.

Born December 25, 1969 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of Juanita K. Everts of St. Thomas and Richard A. Smith of Hagerstown, MD.

Julia was currently employed in data entry in the shipping department of Ventura Foods in Chambersburg. She was a graduate of Clear Spring High School in Clear Spring, MD. She served in the Maryland National Guard.

Julia loved her three dogs, enjoyed kayaking, playing the guitar and playing softball in her younger years.

In addition to her mother and father, surviving family are one sister Stacey R. Nibarger and husband James of Lemasters, PA, three nephews, Kaleb N. Repp, Elijah S. Repp, Harley T. Lehman, one niece, Sadie Mae Repp, four great nephews, one great-niece, three aunts, one uncle, eight cousins and  her furbabies, Tori, Dallas, and London. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 12 at 2:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Humane Society of Washington County
