Ethel B. “Willie” (Rodgers) Williford, age 92, of Greencastle PA died on Monday morning June 19, 2017 in her home.

Born November 15, 1924 in Palmer, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edith (Dakers) Rodgers. Ethel retired from the US Army after 21 ½ years of service as a communications officer.

She enjoyed playing baseball in her younger years and enjoyed watching baseball and was an all-around sports enthusiast. Ethel also enjoyed traveling and was a handy person at fixing just about anything.

She was the last of her immediate family is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

It was her request that there would be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
