Doris J. (Eshelman) Myers, age 87 of Greencastle, PA went to be with her Lord at 11:40 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born May 16, 1929 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Elsie (Pine) Eshelman. She married Irvin E. Myers on March 1, 1946 in Hagerstown. He died on August 15, 2009.

Doris was a homemaker and had worked at Sunnyway Foods in Greencastle. Doris was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Greencastle since 1973 where she was active in the bus ministry and served as the hospitality person for the church. She enjoyed traveling, going to Florida, fishing and reading. Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed greeting and talking with people.

Surviving family are daughter Beverly Hahn and husband Ronald of Greencastle, son Laurent Myers and wife Erin of Rockville, MD, daughter Bonita Goshorn and husband Robert of Chambersburg, five grandchildren, Michael McDonald and fiancée Clarissa, Alicia Goshorn, Tyler Myers, Julia Myers, Devin Myers, two great-grandchildren, Clea, Kaleb and one sister Mary Smith of Chambersburg.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Sherry Lee Corbett, granddaughter Evette Marie Hahn and four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 11 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Assembly Of God Church 525 East Leitersburg St. Greencastle with Pastors Greg Sinclair and Norman Gloeckler officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service on Saturday.
