Cynda L. “Cindy” (Statler) Winslow, age 76 of Chambersburg, PA died Monday evening November 21, 2016 in her home after an extended illness.

Born November 7, 1940 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert R. and Estella E. “Sally” (Horsh) Statler. Cynda married Richard S. Winslow on March 11, 1966.

She worked at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg and then also at Rite Aid. She was a 1958 graduate of Chambersburg Area High School and a 1959 graduate of the Chambersburg School of Business.

Cynda was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Chambersburg. She enjoyed being a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

Surviving family in addition to her husband of 50 years are one daughter Myonna L. Taylor and husband Glen of Antrim NH, four grandchildren, Jared Taylor and wife Cristy, Courtney Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, one great-grandson Raiden Taylor and one step-daughter Jodi Newman of Washington State.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Sidney R. Winslow who died January 27, 2015 and a brother Robert R. Statler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 26 at 11:00 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastors Dennis Chisholm and Jeff McCracken officiating Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Saturday.
