Margaret,
So sorry to read of Aldines' passing.By any measurement, he was an exceptional human being. I met him very briefly many years ago thru my Uncle Don.

Death is not an ending,but a symbol of movement along the path that we all travel.Aldines spirit will be with us forever.

Be assured that our blue Christmas lights will be put up this year in his memory.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

When we first came to PA to work at Cove Valley Camp, Aldine was on the board. He always had some words of wisdom. My wife worked at Sunnyway years later and I was privileged to have him come talk to me at one of their Christmas parties. He had remembered and respected me all of those years. I did not know Mr. Martin, but I have met a number of Heifer International's "seagoing cowboys" and am so grateful for the work those brave young men did in the aftermath of World War II. It sounds like he lived a life full of kindness, service and wonderful adventures.
