Margaret,
So sorry to read of Aldines' passing.By any measurement, he was an exceptional human being. I met him very briefly many years ago thru my Uncle Don.

Death is not an ending, but a symbol of movement along the path that we all travel.Aldines spirit will be with us forever.

Be assured that our blue Christmas lights will be put up this year in his memory.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Aldine Martin on his passing. We are honored for his part in our history - helping transport livestock to Poland when he was 16. And we are grateful for his longtime and generous support of our work ending hunger and poverty in the world.

When we first came to PA to work at Cove Valley Camp, Aldine was on the board. He always had some words of wisdom. My wife worked at Sunnyway years later and I was privileged to have him come talk to me at one of their Christmas parties. He had remembered and respected me all of those years. I appreciated him and I appreciate Margaret. We, at Cove Valley, send our sympathies for your loss.

I did not know Mr. Martin, but I have met a number of Heifer International's "seagoing cowboys" and am so grateful for the work those brave young men did in the aftermath of World War II. It sounds like he lived a life full of kindness, service and wonderful adventures. Heifer International continues to serve people around the world because of the work Aldine Martin and his fellow cowboys did 70 years ago. Sending peace and love to your family.

My heart goes out to the family. Having been an employee of Sunnyway Foods and knowing the children and the family, Aldine was certainly a major influence in the community. Mike and Dean, stay strong and continue to follow in his steps!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Martin Family during this most difficult time. I, as a very small child, remember the first store they opened in the 50's.....then later worked at Sunnyway just after the rebuilding from the fire. I have many fond memories of Margaret and Aldine and the Sunnyway Family......

So sad and so hard to believe. I will miss you my friend. You were one of a kind and that was one of the special things about you. You taught me and shoed me alot in the Rv business. I enjoyed all your stories you told me and the times we spent just talking. We were both cat lovers and enjoyed talking about them. You will be very welled missed. Prayers to your family. Until we meet again someday my friend and continue those stories. I will miss you.
